  2. Eoanthropus dawsoni • Eoanthropus dawsoni or the dawn man was the name that the after the man who found the remaining Charles Dawson.

  3. The findings of Piltdown Man • Scientists thought that this was the missing link or the greatest scientific discovery of the 20th century and that it would lead to other finding so we would better Understand the development of humans.

  4. The finding of the remains • The findings of the remains fond an thick skull that they thought was he sing of a primitive human like creature but the finders broke it in to more pieces so it would be more questionable. But it was proven that is was from less then 1000 years ago.

  5. The Jaw bone the jaw was fix in an interesting manner, it was an apes jaw but it was the teeth were filed and sanded to look more like human teeth.

  6. The forged tools • The tools were made from elephant bone and was found to be real fossils but sharpened with metal so they could never be real cave man tools

  7. The sites • The Piltdown man dig sites where secretive and unknown and when Dawson died even though the sites were Known nothing else was found with and it even more questioned.

  8. Its affect on science • This affected science by back tracking us scientifically by 40 years and we could have Known more by now and achieved more in the findings of early humans.

  9. The hoax • The hoax was dug up and made in 1911-15 and it was figured out to be fake in 1953 we lost all most fifty years of valuable knowledge.

  10. My opinion • Even thought it was a hoax I think it is interesting how when he was drawn and crafted he looks accurate to others and I think it just further shows how we were related to apes.
