Requirements • Volunteering • 15 HOSA hours OR • 12 HOSA hours and 6 outside HOSA hrs • Fundraising • One LARGE fundraiser (UIL Basketball or Texas Relays) • One small fundraiser • Socials • 3 social events • Meetings • 4 of 6 general meetings • Membership Dues • $35 for the Spring semester by March 22 (Third Gen Mtg)

Around Campus • UTMB Visits UT • Tomorrow Wednesday 2/16 at 6:30pm in WCH 1.120 • Dr. Jeffrey Rabek, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs & Admissions • Pharmacy School Interview Workshop • Thursday, February 17 at 5:00 – 6:30 pm in WEL 2.308 • Nutrigenetics Seminar • “Nutrition and Cancer Research” by Dr. Bharat Aggarwal of MD Anderson • Thursday March 3 ATT Center from 6-7pm • Friday March 4 PHR 2.110 from 1-2pm

  6. Volunteering- HOSA hours • Explore UT: Saturday March 5th • 10am-12pm • 12-2pm • 2-4pm • Limit to three members per shift • But you can sign up for multiple shifts! • Zilker Kite Festival: Sunday March 6th • Shift 2-4pm • Meet at Littlefield Fountain at 1:15pm

  7. Volunteering –HOSA hours • Semester Long Can Food Drive • Three cans = 1 hour (HOSA hours) • Three hours earned maximum • Last day to bring in cans is the 6th general meeting *Look out for potential volunteer event: Science Olympiad Saturday Feb 26th

  8. Volunteering- Outside HOSA hours • HP Fair: Wed March 2nd • Volunteer independently for outside HOSA hours • Sign up on the HOSA roster AND through the HP link (both on the website) • LOOP

  10. Fundraising- UIL cont. • First come first serve basis • Deadline to sign up is Monday Feb. 21st • Independent fundraising/ No attending officer • Absolute commitment !! • Cancellation/No Show Penalty: • You are obliged TWO large fundraisers to be an active member

Socials • Tron in IMAX 3D • This Thursday Feb 17th at 8:30pm • IMAX Theatre at the Bob Bullock History of Texas Museum • Off MLK right across from Brazos Garage • Free evening parking at the museum lot • Meet Ellie in front of the Museum at 8:10pm • “Are You Smarter than a PreMed Student” Explore UT Game Social • Friday February 25th at 5pm • Location TBD
