AWV May 2014 (1) • Rate is currently manned at 100.1%, manned to 109.6% FY15 Enlisted Programmed Authorizations. • Currently not open to PACT Designation applicants. • Convert out opportunities exist in Year Groups 2001, 2003, 2004, 2007-2011. • Not taking convert-ins at this time. • Advancement opportunities will decrease as P-3’s transition to P-8. Losing approximately 24 billets/year. • -Looking for AWVs to convert to AWO. Please contact ECM if interested in conversion to AWO. • -Approximately 45% of AWV billets are P-3 In-Flight Technicians. The P-3 will begin transition to the P-8 in June 2012 however, the P-3 will continue service through 2019. • -Members that non-volunteer from flying duty will be force converted per MILPERSMAN 1440-010.
