  3. Creation of the universe • Muslims believe in the creativity of Allah, and that Allah created the universe. • Allah is one and nothing can be compared with him. • Allah makes the universe happen and the idea of the universe comes from Allah

  4. Who created the universe? • Allah is the one who creates life on earth, All life comes from Allah. • Muslims do not believe with the big bang theory, they do not believe that the universe is their by chance. • The purpose of creation is to worship Allah. Allah created us so we could worship him.

  5. Why belief in the creativity of Allah is important. • Only Allah could have created the world because it is so complicated, because no human can ever create the universe. • It is thought in the Quran that Allah created the world. • `…nor shall they compass anything of his knowledge except as he wills…` ( surah 2:255), this ayah shows that nothing can happen without Allah`s knowledge. • The creation of the universe shows that Allah is omnipotent, so humans should worship and serve him.
