Utah Northern Region Childhood Obesity Project • Background: In light of growing national and statewide concerns about childhood obesity, Intermountain Urban North Region has adopted a goal to reduce childhood obesity rates in that region.
UNR Childhood Obesity Project • Purpose: • Collect baseline measures that will support the development of childhood obesity interventions. • Data will serve as a baseline measurement to assess the extent to which the the intervention is successful.
UNR Childhood obesity project • 7 elementary schools within the northern region of Utah. • 3rd grade • 480 kids participated • December 17, 2010

After School Programs • YMCA • Provides a safe, exciting, and fun environment for students from Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. There is a monthly fee of $40.00/student.
