Let’s Frame the Scenario • A blizzard will be moving through the region, with massive amount of snow and wind. • Anticipated snowfall is expected to be in the 28-36in range in a 36hour period. • Snowfall is expected to begin in the next 24 hours. • Winds will be gusting upwards of 20-30mph and the windchill will be hovering around 0 degrees. • Large swaths of the region will be experiencing periods of power outages. • Snow removal crews will be staged and ready to clear, however many streets will remain unpassable for large periods of time.
