What is the Food for Life Partnership? • The Food for Life Partnership is a network of schools and communities across England dedicated to transforming food culture.
What is the Food for Life Partnership? The Food for Life Partnership Mark is: • an action framework to help schools and their communities transform their food culture • an award scheme to recognise their achievements
Award for schools • Achievement is awarded at three levels: • Bronze, Silver and Gold awards • The criteria are centred around four areas of development: • Food leadership • Food quality and provenance • Food education • Food culture and community involvement

Results of SW Healthy Schools Plus Pilot “…encourages young people to make healthier and more sustainable food choices and develop healthy behaviours for life. This in turn should impact on obesity rates and the PSA target to halt and reduce the year on year rise in obesity in under 11s. As the project uses a whole school approach, it will also promote inclusion and reduce health inequalities”.
