  4. Daytime groups • 6 mixed groups • 8-10 children in each group • Each child remains with their chosen “buddy” both day and night • Each group keeps the same staff leader for the whole week • The staff leader will look after medication and pocket money

  5. Bedtime arrangements • 6 dormitories • 3 in the house • 3 in the converted stables • Boys and girls in separate dorms • 3 staff members sleep in the house • 3 staff members sleep in the stables • All rooms checked and secured at night

  6. Itinerary • Monday • World Museum Liverpool • Arrive and settle into accommodation • Early evening village walk

  7. Itinerary • Tuesday • Activities on site including message sending, bottle run and orienteering • Early evening swim • Fish and Chips

  8. Itinerary • Wednesday - PYB • Low ropes course • Canoeing • Indoor Wall Climbing

  9. Itinerary • Thursday • Full day visit at Bodelwyddan castle • Evening games on the field

  10. Itinerary • Friday • Pack up and leave Plas Nantglyn • Visit to Spaceport, Liverpool. • Ferry across the Mersey. • Arrive back at school at around 4pm

  11. Health and Safety • Medication • Please provide plenty of medication to cover the whole week • The child's name and the dosage should be clearly indicated on the container • No sprays or aerosols please • Insect repellent • Swimming • If your child can not swim, please provide appropriate arm bands, as the swimming pool does not provide them.

  12. Items to pack • Disposable camera • Pocket money will be issued daily, but children will need a purse or bum bag. • No radios, walkmans, MP3 players or mobile phones please • We encourage the children to send a postcard home, so please send a copy of their home address with them • A small rucksack type bag (not too bulky) • Quick drying trousers

  13. Departure details • Children to arrive at school at the usual time and report to the fire escape of the gym in the car park, and report to their staff leader • A packed lunch is needed • No fizzy drinks • Please provide a drink in water container that can be filled and used throughout the week • Children should wear clothes suitable for the weather conditions of the day • We will leave school at 9.15am Please feel free to stay and wave your child off.

  14. Return details • We aim to return to school at 4pm on Friday 22nd June • We should have already received your slip telling us who will be collecting your child. • When you collect your child, please go to their staff leader who will check them off. • Please remember to collect all their belongings
