CAREER and TECHNICAL EDUCATION Let’s talk about the ALIGNMENT REPORT
What is the ALIGNMENT REPORT • It is a CTE report mailed to the districts with the following reports: 40th Day Verification, 100th Day Verification, Preliminary Funding Reports, and Final Funding Reports (months of December, March, June, August) • It is a tool that shows which data CTE has or does not have for a program for the current school year It does not indicate the quality of the data, only the existence of the data The “Aligned” or “Not-Aligned” status is not a statement of approval or disapproval for funding
More about theALIGNMENT REPORT FY 20XX Sample Alignment Report The three “articulation” columns do not affect the alignment status but may be needed for funding Non- Coop/ Part/ Reports Details for each column are noted by footnotes The “Aligned” or “Not Aligned” status is a reference for a district to verify Every program at a school with any current data reported to CTE will be listed on its own line in the report Empty columns show which data may be missing for the program Please note that a program’s “aligned” or “not-aligned” status is NOT a statement of approval for funding
Program alignment status is not a statement of funding! Courses in a program even with “Aligned” status will not be funded if all funding requirements are not in place.
