  4. Grants Express PatchEnhancement: Allows flexibility in assigning permissions Question 4.0 now asks for the Department Research Administrator. (It defaults to the person creating the funding proposal if they have the role of DRA in the RAPPORT system. This information now prepopulates the DRA name on the Forward to DRA activity. The name can be changed. Grants Working Group - January 15, 2013

  5. Grants Express PatchEnhancement: PI Routing Certification: PI notified to do routing certification. Current functionality: DRA must notify the PI outside of the RAPPORT application. GXP Patch Enhancement: New Notification: RAPPORT generates an email when the state of the proposal changes from Draft to Dept. Research Admin Review. This state change is triggered by the Forward to DRA activity. The DRA is cc’d on this notification. Email text: Subject line: RAPPORT Action Required Body of Email: The following proposal is ready for you to complete the PI Routing Certification activity: <Funding Proposal Description (Long Title)>. Grants Express PatchEnhancement: PI Submission CertificationNotification GXP Patch Enhancement: New Notification: RAPPORT generates an email when the PI completes their PI Submission Certification. The email is sent to the OSP Grants Officer or Director. The DRA is cc’d on the email. Current functionality: OSP must log into RAPPORT and check status/history of the funding proposal. Email text: Subject line: RAPPORT – PI Submit Certification Completed <PI Combined Name> Body of Email: The PI Certification for Submission has been completed for: <Funding Proposal Title/ Name>. The Principal Investigator for this Funding Proposal is <PI Combined Name>. Grants Working Group - January 15, 2013

Current functionality: The county fields are not auto-populated and can cause a validation error if left blank. GXP Patch Enhancement: Auto-populated the county fields for Dartmouth related entries.
