Collaborations With the Elementary Secondary Education Act (ESEA)Title Programs Title IV Safe and Drug-Free Schools • Required that districts, every 2 years, obtain an anonymous student survey • California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) • Environments conductive to learning, school climate, safety, harassment • California added a teacher survey – California School Climate Survey • Special Education paid to expand the surveyhttp://www.cde.ca.gov/eo/in/se/climatesurvey.asp Closing the Achievement Gap Initiative
