  5. Test Scores to Note: 6th Grade ELA, Math & Science 7th Grade Reading 8th Grade Writing, Reading & Social Studies Math II Each of these had passing rates higher than most of the other schools in the HGRESA district.

  16. Three Different DOK Levels • DOK 1- Describe three characteristics of metamorphic rocks. (Requires simple recall) • DOK 2- Describe the difference between metamorphic and igneous rocks. (Requires cognitive processing to determine the differences in the two rock types) • DOK 3- Describe a model that you might use to represent the relationships that exist within the rock cycle. (Requires deep understanding of rock cycle and a determination of how best to represent it)

Some Facts • Georgia Currently Has 200 Charter Schools. • A “Yes” Vote Will Create a Dual System of Public Schools: One Run by the State with No Local Input, and the Other Current System with Local Control. • A ballot question does not have to reflect the language of the bill or enabling legislation.
