NAGI MODEL • Pathophysiology, Impairment, Functional Limitations and Disability Sections • Flow from information given in case • Inter-relationships obvious

Long Term Outcomes • Must address Functional Limitations or Disabilities or Impairments • Must be reflected in the NAGI model • Prioritization • Must Meet Criterion • Measurable, Functional, Behavioral, Patient Centered • Who will do what, when, under what conditions, and how well.
Short Term Goals • Must relate to a specific LTO • Must reflect analysis of LTO • Must flow from disablement model and usually reflect impairments • Must be distinct and different • Meet criteria
Plan of Care • Strategies to address the outcomes and goals • What impairment are you targeting? • What goal are you addressing? • What specifically is the therapist doing and why? • What are you expecting from the patient? • JUSTIFICATION –based on literature, clinical expertise, patient preference??

Gait Lab Participants • Volunteers by Request • Variety of ages, diagnoses, function • Agreed to: • Examination including HX • Gait Training Program • 4 weeks minimum • Video Taping
Gait Lab Participants • ALL CONTACTS, EXAMINATIONS, PLANS OF CARE must have the approval of your tutor and/or your supervising therapist. • Courtesy Letter to Therapists and physicians May make initial contact IF approved by tutor. Pick a contact person for family.
