  3. THE SATURN PROJECT • Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun. • Saturn is the second largest planet in the Solar System. • Saturn is a gas planet made up of mostly hydrogen and helium. • Saturn is most well known for its rings. • The Rings are very wide and very thin.

THE SATURN PROJECT • Saturn has seven rings that are made up of particles of ice, dust and rock. • The more than fiftymoons that orbit Saturn hold the rings in place. • The moon Titan is the 2nd largest in the solar system, it is larger than the planet Mercury. • The average temperature on Saturn is minus 290 degrees Fahrenheit.
