God continues to hold out his roles for marriage • God provides for both fathers and mothers to raise a child. • God gives fathers the primary duty to raise their children “in the fear and admonition of the LORD.” • God reminds parents to not “frustrate” their children. • God tells children to obey their parents.
God continues to hold out his roles for marriage “A cord of three strands is not easily broken” - Ecclesiastes 4:12 God Husband Wife
Problems come from ignoring or abusing God’s plan of marriage • Basing marriage upon emotional attachment rather than upon God’s Word? • Intimacy without commitment? • Separation from the means of grace? • Sex outside of marriage? • Children having children? • A dulled or dead conscience?
