Summary • The reason that Miss Austen is one of my favorite authors is her ability to develop her characters so that they seem real and become a part of who you are as a reader. • Her way of describing the beautiful scenes in her books helps to transport you to that time and place. • And of course, her use of a smart, self-assured main female character who is generous in spirit helps create lasting impressions that live on long after you are finished reading her stories.
