Hancock Web Page Colors • The colors on the Hancock website have become changed recently: • Text can no longer be read • Many say the color scheme is boring or out dated • The colors do not reflect the spirit of our school. • Ms. Glynn and Dr. Boran want the color scheme redesigned. • I will submit your plans to them and they will choose the best design to be implemented on the website. • The person whose design is chosen will win a Flash Drive.

Things to keep in mind… • While this is a homework assignment, it is also a real assignment! • Our school colors are maroon and grey. • We can replace and should replace the banner at the top of the page. • Difficult to get a new picture of the school right now! • You should pick a color for the “mouse over” color for links. • Play with the current web site to see what I mean. • This assignment is due at the beginning of class on Tuesday September 20, 2011.

  4. How do show my color scheme? • Download the file Hancock Web Site.docx from the Hancock Website. • This is a Word mock-up of our website. • Change the colors in the Word document. • On Monday I will give you instructions on how to submit your file to me.
