  2. Monday Objective • I will describe the structure and functions of cells and cell parts.

  3. Bell work • Review your Cell Chemistry notes.

  4. Quiz • C =NO communication except with the teacher. • H =Raise your hand and wait to speak. • A =Take the test. Answer every question. • M =Do not get out of your seat or into your bags. • P =Finish the test. When you finish, begin working on your Organ System outline worksheet.

  5. Organ System Review • Complete the outline worksheet.

  6. Homework • Write a paragraph describing the relationship between structure and function of organ systems in plants and animals.

  7. Tuesday Objective • I will explain the relationship between structure and function of organs and organ systems.

  8. Bell work • Write at least an 8 sentence paragraph using as many of the Standard 3 vocabulary terms as possible. (Use them correctly.)

  9. SAGE Organ Systems Review • Use the SAGE Formative to review Organ Systems concepts as a class.

  10. Homework • Study your Organ Systems notes.

  11. Wednesday Objective • I will explain the relationship between structure and function of organs and organ systems.

  12. Bell work • Review your Organ Systems notes.

  13. Quiz • C =NO communication except with the teacher. • H =Raise your hand and wait to speak. • A =Take the test. Answer every question. • M =Do not get out of your seat or into your bags. • P =Finish the test.

  14. Homework • Copy and complete this Venn Diagram: Asexual Reproduction Sexual Reproduction

  15. Thursday Objective • I will explain how DNA affects offspring.

  16. Bell work • Write at least an 8 sentence paragraph using as many of the Standard 4 vocabulary terms as possible.(Use them correctly.)

  17. Genetics Review • Complete the outline worksheet.

  18. Homework • Explain DNA replication, transcription and translation. • You may use paragraphs or scientific drawings

  19. Friday Objective • I will explain how DNA affects offspring.

  20. Bell work • Write a paragraph relating Mendelian principles to modern-day practices of plant and animal breeding.

  21. SAGE Genetics Review • Use the SAGE Formative to review Genetics concepts as a class.

  22. Homework • Review your Genetics notes.
