Resident Committee Campaigns • Re-Entry Subcommittee • Michelle Moyè, Committee Chair • Goals • Bring awareness and education to the issue • Increase housing resources for the Re-Entry population • Still working on getting a Shell Bill with Dept of Corrections • Partnership with Corporation for Supportive Housing

  3. Resident Committee Campaigns • Full Time Student Status with PSH • Clarification about whether or not residents are allowed to go to school full time. • Support from the Legal Aid Fund in Chicago • Reported PSH agencies: Mercy Housing & A Safe Haven • Increase awareness and support from other housing related organizations and entities

  4. Resident Committee Campaigns • Increase Resident Participation throughout the state • MORE RESIDENTS • MORE RESIDENTS • MORE RESIDENTS • SHPA Scholarship Program • Increase involvement for residents, not the fiscal burden on residents
