  1. Inspirations Your local art gallery is beginning to plan an upcoming exhibition showcasing the concept “Multiculturalism”. The local council has seen this idea done many times before, so are looking for young artists to recreate the idea in a cool, exciting and innovative way.

  2. You are an artist whose role is to create a digital design portfolio consisting of an artwork that portrays Australia and Australia’s relationships and connections with Asia. To accompany your artwork, you must construct a justification that persuades the audience that your artwork deserves the award of “Most Innovative” in its design and purpose. You will create a digital design portfolio to plan and construct all components of the task.

  3. Your digital design portfolio will include: • The planning process of your artwork • Experiments and notes from tasks • Thoughts, feelings and emotions • Research notes • Images of your artwork • A completed uploaded image of your artwork • A completed artwork justification/appraisal • An evaluation and reflection

  4. Each part of your digital design portfolio will include ICTs used and learnt about in class: • Blogs, wikis, websites • Images, audio and video • PowerPoint, Prezi and Glogster • Vokis • bubbl.us • Inspirations • Quizlet • Not all ICTs must be included – just the ones you feel will be most effective. How these are included is up to you.
