How is this “special call” similar to a traditional call? • Bid must be submitted electronically. • Signature Page printed, completed, and mailed to me along with the • Refundable Bid Deposit ($1,000.00 Certified Check made payable to WVDE). • Samples must be exact duplicate of item(s) bid • Correlations to criteria are required.

When is everything due? • Refer to the Calendar of Events on the Instructional Materials Website • Home Page • Adoption Process > Call for Materials Page • Bids, Signature Sheet, & Deposit: • February 11, 2011 – 4:00 PM • Bids Opened February 15, 2011 - 10:00 AM

What’s Different about the “Special Call”? • Samples & Correlations • Publisher presentations are required during Deliberations (March 17-19) • No Appeals • No Surety Bond Required • Bids do not include individual items (e.g., manupilitives, ancillaries, etc.) • You will NOT market to county board personnel.
Will there be a Caravan? • No, not exactly. • There will be an opportunity to present your programs this summer during the Universal Pre-K Leadership Conference.
