Evaporation • The first step in the Water Cycle is Evaporation. Evaporation is when water evaporates and rises. As the sun warms the water up it rises into the sky as tiny droplets of water vapor.
Condensation • The next step in the Water Cycle is Condensation. Condensation is when water vapor condenses and turns into clouds.
Precipitation • Precipitation is the second to last part in the Water Cycle. Precipitation is when it rains, snows, sleets, or hails. This happens when the water vapor in the clouds get too heavy it precipitates.
Run-Off • The last step in the Water Cycle is Run-Off. Run-Off happens when it precipitates the remains of the precipitation runs down a mountain or hill.
