Matching Grants Support Rotary clubs and districts in carrying out humanitarian projects around the world Rotary Clubs of Clark Centennial – Philippines & Sanford
Matching Grant Funding • Minimum grant award: US$5,000 • Maximum grant award: $200,000 • Match funded through World Fund • $1 match for every $1 of DDF • $0.50 matching for every $1 cash contribution
Matching Grant Types • Matching Grants • Foundation award US$5,000 to $25,000 • Competitive Matching Grants • Foundation award $25,001 to $200,000 • Rotary Clubs of East Nassau • & Casselberry

Matching Grant Guidelines • Active Rotarian participation • Address humanitarian need • Promote the Foundation • Adhere to terms and conditions
Matching Grant Guidelines • Establish committee of three to oversee project • Plan project jointly • Communicate with cosponsors for life of project
Matching Grant Reporting • Progress reports every 12 months • Final report due within 2 months of completion • Highlight successes and use of funds
District Simplified Grants Support service and humanitarian projects locally or internationally
District Simplified GrantFunding • Maximum 20% of district’s DDF • $30,000 is the amount of DDF available for DSG in 2011-2012 • The money is available on a first come, first served
District Simplified Grants • District Simplified Grant money ($30,000) will be available until all is allotted.
District Simplified Grant Requirements • Purchase services or goods that - Support humanitarian and service activities- Benefit a community in need • Active Rotarian involvement • Respect wishes of receiving community • Adhere to terms and conditions
District Simplified GrantReporting For each project, clubs submit an application to the district including: • Detailed description • Description of Rotarian involvement • List of expenditures • Rotarian signature from sponsoring club
