VERBS: Action Verbs and State of Being; Troublesome Verbs; Regular and Irregular Verbs; Main and Helping Verbs; Linking Verbs; Forming contractions with Verbs; and Verb Tenses: Present, Present Continuous; Past, Past Continuous, Past Participle; and Future. GRAMMAR
Weekly list of twenty words. The Weekly Test and the Notebook will be sent home for your signature, on Mondays. We need your help reminding the students because we hardly get them back! • Oral reading and discussion of different books. Starting with REBECCA. Comprehension Questions and Book Reports. SPELLING AND READING
Writing essays about different subjects with a minimum of four paragraphs of 5 sentences each. • Daily Evaluation of the correct use of the English language and preparation of different activities such as USA Presidents, etc. WRITING AND ORAL
PROJECT: Careers and Occupations • Each student has chosen a career, business or occupation. Now, they are doing research and interviews. They will write a resume and prepare all marketing tools and advertising materials for their corporation, and finally they will give an Oral Presentation. • At the Jobs Fair, each student will have their own stand and they will tell us about their career. • Responsibility: Timeline, Agendas • You are all invited!
