Guerrilla Girls made billboards and posters that revealed the limited opportunities for women artists. Dove went outside of the norm by using older women in their pro-age line of products. Women – young and old -- took action. Action, Action, Action

Other students put on a concert with speakers, a silent auction, and food drive to raise over $700 for the local women’s shelter ….
This student used her art to make people think about gender stereotypes, childrearing, and society’s blindness towards the gendered nature of school shootings (male perpetrators). “The rigid ideals of manhood is a cost to boys and to society.” Doesn’t the father play just as big of a part in conception as the mother?
