Warmia and Mazury. The region of many lakes. LOCATION. Our region is located in the north-east of Poland. As you can see on the map we have a border with Russia- Konigsberg. The capital city of our region is Olsztyn. THE CITY EMBLEM.

  1. Warmia and Mazury The region of many lakes.

  2. LOCATION • Our region is located in the north-east of Poland. As you can see on the map we have a border with Russia- Konigsberg. The capital city of our region is Olsztyn.

  3. THE CITY EMBLEM • The patron of our city is St. Jacob. He looks after farmers as the main industry in this part of Poland iused to be agriculture. Nowadays there aren’t many farms here.

  4. HIGH GATE • This is the remaining part of the citiy`s wall. It leads to the beautiful old city with tenement houses and a very old Teutonic castle.

  5. Castle • Our castle was built in XIV century. At the beginning of XVI century a famous astronom Mikolaj Copernic lived here. You can still see a solar clock on one of the walls made by him.

  6. The Town hall • This is the new Town hall. Another one is situaded inthe middle of the old city and provides a residence for the city library. In this building are placed The city council`s offices.

  7. COUNTRYSIDE • There are two main rivers Lyna and Wadag. The flow among forests and meadows

  8. Isn`t IT the mysterious place ? • Here live all the mysterious creatures and funny devils from our unfinished project !!!Don`t worry they are very friendly and helpful so long you don`t spoil their natural environment.
