  2. Book Cover & Movie Version There are two types of covers for the book and one type for the movie.

  3. Mental Maps of Settings w/ Events Labeled • I predicted that the whole story takes place in the area that I’ve circled. In the location, I’ve predicted that there are many places for food and rivers for water. The map points out the name of the city, Dodoma, where the plane crashed. In the story, they specifically call it Kondoa, which is a place in Dodoma. • Plane Crash occurs Dodoma • Gerry Loses his consciousness to a baboon in Dodoma. • Gerry Finds a troop in Dodoma & finds a way to survive. • Fires start in Dodoma & Gerry manages to survive. • Gerry gets his consciousness back to human in an ambulance in Dodoma.

  4. A Picture of A Scene From The Story I am not quite the artist, so I found a perfect picture for a scene. This scene is about Gerry being bullied by Lothar. Lothar is the baboon that constantly bullies Gerry. In this scene, Gerry is the smaller baboon and Lothar is the bigger. This scenario clearly explains the relationship between Gerry and Lothar: not very good friends. Gerry and Lothar interact with each other mostly when they’re fighting or looking for food. Lothar would steal Gerry’s food in the story, too.

  6. Short Biography of David Jones David Jones attended and graduated from the University of British Columbia with knowledge about zoology. Jones has taken writing courses, then wrote this book and published it. In this novel, he combined science and animals together. David Jones has accomplished writing a show at NASA’s Space Centers. He is also writing children’s books and now lives in Vancouver, Canada.
