  3. Aphrodite Aphrodite is the goddess of love, desire and beauty. In addition to her natural gifts she has a magical girdle that compels anyone she wishes to desire her. There are two accounts of her birth. Aphroditeof Greek Aphrodite Aphrodite

  4. Aphrodite is the only character in Greek mythology not to have a mother or father.  She is said to have indirectly been born of Oranos, however.  She was born during the primal murder, when Cronus murdered his father, Oranos, and threw his body into the sea. Birth of Aphrodite

  5. Athena was the goddess of wisdom. She also was the goddess of handicrafts and strategy.  She did not like to fight, but when forced to, she always won. She hated Ares and took pleasure in thwarting him on the battle field
