  2. Analyze Your Clubs • Number and gender of members • Age trend line of membership • Working or retired, what is mix • Why did they join, are they “pinners” • Officers, leaders or “chair fillers”?

  3. Analyze Your Club’s Meetings • Where held, conducive to meetings? • When held, appropriate for members? • Are they interesting? • Is there meal service, if so, type? • What is typical % attendance?

  4. Analyze Meetings and Newsletters • Programs How often and type? Who obtains, program chair or others? What type of topics? • Newsletters • Frequency • Who publishes • How distributed

  5. Analyze Their Events • Type, kids / social • Frequency • Membership involvement • Chairs, “overstuffed” or “vibrating”? • Do they meet “needs assessment”?

  6. Analyze Their Fundraising • Type, more than one? • Frequency? • Amount raised, is it adequate? • Number of members involved? • Are they fun, interesting?

  7. Ideas to Strengthen Your Clubs • Use club analysis to institute changes to improve clubs • Recruit younger members, utilize mentoring to involve members • Re-vitalize meetings • Make sure kids are served • Instill Optimism as way of life • Make memorization of creed a goal
