  7. Child Initiated Opportunities الفرص المتاحة للطفل للمبادرة Experimenting with magnets- a range of magnets and magnetic materials were left in the outdoor classroom for children to investigate. Questions were placed around the area for teachers and T.A’s to ask. 2 1 Children planting – The children are investigating plants and seeds and can see how the roots grow through this process. Investigation Tray- this tray is in the corridor so that it is accessible to all the children. A range of natural materials and man made materials are placed inside each cubby for the children to feel. It provides an opportunity for children to talk about and experience different textures independently. 3 Shaving Foam- this messy play activities allow children to investigate mixing and changes of materials without adult direction. 4 Photo’s were removed from this slide

  8. 6 Water Tray 5 7 Colour Paddles and Colored Cellophane- These let the children investigate the world through different colours and the cellophane enabled children to mix colours. Investigation Box- We try and create investigation boxes. These allow the children to experiment independently in a range ways.
