Eastern Screech Owl • Like most raptors, male Eastern Screech Owls are smaller than females and are more agile fliers and hunters • Males have a lower-pitched voice than females. The males most common call is a mellow, muted trill, each call lasts two to three seconds with about thirty five notes given, and repeated at various intervals. • The scientific name is Megascops Asio.
