The Basics of Word Processing • Insertion point – indicates the position on the screen to enter information • Word Wrap – allows one to enter lines without pressing enter after each line • Soft and hard returns • Toggle Switches – allow one to turn a feature on and off (Caps Lock) • Insert versus Overtype – toggle between insertion and overtype (Ins key) Microsoft Word
