Child Care Healthy Initiatives/Ordinance REQUIREMENTS EFFECTIVE DATES New Applicants Upon application, meet Boise City Code requirements. Upon application, all child care workers must have CPR and first aid certification. Within one year of licensing, workers must have complied with designated “level” training requirements. Existing License Holders CPR/First Aid Training By March 1, 2015, workers will be required to have been trained in CPR and first aid. Child Care Healthy Initiatives Training By July 1, 2015, all facility directors must be in compliance with the new ordinance. Level Training Hours By October 1, 2015, all workers must be in compliance with the new ordinance. Worker/Child Ratio By October 1, 2015, new facilities must meet all requirements of the current Boise City Code. Child Care Healthy Initiatives Compliance By October 1, 2015, each facility’s compliance evaluation rating will be reported at boisechildcare.com. Compliance is not a requirement of licensing.
