Child Care Healthy Initiatives/Ordinance REQUIREMENTS EFFECTIVE DATES New Applicants Upon application, meet Boise City Code requirements.  Upon application, all child care workers must have CPR and first aid certification.  Within one year of licensing, workers must have complied with designated “level” training requirements. Existing License Holders CPR/First Aid Training  By March 1, 2015, workers will be required to have been trained in CPR and first aid. Child Care Healthy Initiatives Training  By July 1, 2015, all facility directors must be in compliance with the new ordinance. Level Training Hours  By October 1, 2015, all workers must be in compliance with the new ordinance. Worker/Child Ratio  By October 1, 2015, new facilities must meet all requirements of the current Boise City Code. Child Care Healthy Initiatives Compliance  By October 1, 2015, each facility’s compliance evaluation rating will be reported at boisechildcare.com. Compliance is not a requirement of licensing.
