The development • Opens like the beginning • Three motifs, the run (x), the lean (y) and a hoop figure (z). The Recapitulation • The job of the recapitulation is to create symmetry by repeating the exposition. However, the key should stay in the tonic now. • The recap begins at the anacrusis before 94. What key? LO: to know the features of the development and recapitulation of the Mozart Sonata.
