  1. IHS Class of Safe & Sober Grad Night 2015 Last High School Class Event!!!!! What: Inderkum2015 Safe & Sober Grad Night Who: IHS graduating seniors & a couple of guests Planned by: IHS PTSA & YOU! Where: TBA When: May 28th11pm to May 29th5:30am How Much: Dependent upon outside funding- $25 - $75 per person Why: Safe and Sober Grad Night provides a supervised, safe & sober all-night graduation party for seniors & guests. Plan: Meet at high school at 10pm; Transportation to venue 11:15pm; Return to high school at 5:30am. # TBD $ TBD Times are tentative!

Our Goals: • Give graduates one last chance to hang out with their high school friends! • Celebrate their success! • Keep them safe to live productive and healthy lives in the future. • Fundraise to reduce cost of admission, so every senior can celebrate. • Provide a memory-filled night with a huge raffle drawing for gifts & big prizes! Facts: • On average, someone is killed by a drunk driver every 45 minutes. • Alcohol-related deaths & accidents increase 70% for high school students on graduation night. It drops to 10% or less when there’s a Safe & Sober Grad Night. • 34% of California’s 2,715 traffic-related fatalities in 2010 were alcohol-related. • 40% of alcohol-related fatal car crashes involve teens. • 60% of all teen deaths in car accidents are alcohol-related. • “The 100 Deadliest Days” for teen drivers are between Memorial Day & Labor Day. • Mile for mile, teenagers are involved in 3x as many fatal crashes as all other drivers.
