  10. Time and Attendance Comprehensive time management system supporting the recording of time for hourly and benefit eligible staff Based on system at Indiana University supporting over 19,000 hourly and biweekly staff Built on Rice 1.0.1 and integrated with KEW, KIM and KFS

HR Core Transactions • Can Core HR Transactions be implemented stand alone? • YES – Use the system as a front end to your existing HR system • Why implement stand alone? • Workflow enable transactions for electronic routing and approval • Allow for custom business logic outside of your HR system • Take advantage of enhanced functionality over your existing HR system • Step 1 on your way to full KPME implementation

  17. HR Core Transactions • IU uses HR eDocs as a front end for PeopleSoft to: • Distribute transactions to departments • Add custom business logic without modifying PeopleSoft business logic • Lessen impact of PeopleSoft upgrades on the end user
