  1. Devices & Services CRM & ERP ‘Hitachi Solutions was key to the project that we were delivering, for East Lindsey and South Holland District Councils, to bring a broadened and deeper programme and project management skill set into the delivery mechanism.’ -Logan Tweedie IT Director, Compass Point Business Services The Challenge ‘Clear wish for members to protect front-line services, and therefore looking at back-office services made sense. We were aware, that over the next few years given the financial circumstances of the country as a whole, that the constraints on us would be even more than we had originally anticipated. All those were key drivers to looking at sharing services, and exploring ways of doing that in the most effective way we could.’ Nigel Howells, Chief Executive, East Lindsey District Council. The Solution Compass Point Business Services chose Microsoft Dynamics CRM for citizen facing technology, and Dynamics AX for back-office ERP and finance systems. • The Impact • £30 million in savings over the next 10 years • Creating a platform for growth • Volume of calls has dropped 43% year on year
