Recycling History • 1970 - Citizens for Environmental Improvement began current Recycling Drop-off Program • 1990 - City of Lincoln assumed control of the Recycling Drop-off Program • 1991-92 - Environmental Management Plan was developed and finalized • Plan recommended continuation and expansion of Recycling Drop-off Program
