  3. Typical Week Schedule for Classes: 19/06/10

  4. Daily Classes from 8:30am to 12:30pm which includes • Standard lectures • Small group discussions with physicians • Anatomy lab • One Afternoon spent a week on each of: • Clinical skills training • Community Health/Ethical training • Professional Development 19/06/10

  5. Most students have at least one observership afternoon each week doing rounds with physicians, working up cases to the best of our abilities • Some also spend an afternoon doing: • Hospice Training • Clinical Research • Community Outreach • Other volunteer 19/06/10

  6. Prior to medical students people in my class were heavily involved. That doesn’t change: • Sports • Clubs • Student Council • Night life • There is a definite “Lion King Effect” – too much to see and do, and if you are not careful it can be overwhelming 19/06/10

Overall it is an amazing place, you are surrounded by an incredibly motivated, skilled and diverse group of people • You are treated extremely well by the college itself • Everyday you learn something new and have a chance to impact the lives of others • We work hard, play hard, and always have fun! 19/06/10
