2. London’s street art is an experience in itself. This unconventional, yet undoubtedly poignant, art style has found an audience outside of the street scene as well. Just take Banksy’s work for example. If you are planning to go on an art tour across the city while a resident at hotels near South Kensington, there are several street art sites that you should pay a visit at.

3. 1. The Leake Street Tunnel Located beneath Waterloo Station, this tunnel spans 300 meters and is completely covered in street art. Among the famous pieces that can be found here include those from Banksy who actually made a tradition of working on these tunnel walls. A lot of the pieces here are made by local street artists but were sponsored by big companies who want to tap into this new market. One interesting exhibit here is the work by Amada por Dios, a piece commissioned by Sony and is comprised of reflective UV paint. Other areas such as Holywell Lane and Leonard Street also feature ever-changing artworks on the wall. On Blackall wall, you’ll always find plenty of new work from up and coming street artists. 5. 3. Brick Lane Located near the Shoreditch wall, Brick Lane features one of London’s most comprehensive street art collections to date. In fact, to find a singular piece in the veritable cacophony of colors on each wall is a treasure hunt in itself. There’s just too many personal masterpieces vying for whatever real estate is left free in the area. A major point of interest here is Star Yard, a parking space where every available space has already been taken up by different art pieces. Highlights here include the cars of D-Face and Banksy which have been kept in their dis-repaired state, but are covered completely in art. Legend has it that both vehicles crashed at the same time or, depending on who you’re asking, into each other.

6. 4. Camden Unlike the other places in this list, Camden’s street art might soon face erasure. Major developments in the area put different walls at risk of being torn down, taking with them hundreds of street art in the process. While they are still around, however, the best place to start is at the Morning Crescent where you’ll see different local artist put up their works. Then, at Jamestown Road, you might recognize several popular works like those made by Gnasher Murals. Other artists featured here include Nomad Clan, Captain Kris, and Senor X. Also, you might find a huge mural depicting a hyper-detailed Cobra.

A major landmark here is Fish Island where you’ll see works by Ali Hamish, 619, and The Real Dill. Also, Hackney Wick is the preferred training ground for many new street artists so you might just happen upon the work of a future famous artist here at a corner.
