IEC Global Relevance • Additional EDRs from SC23B, SC23E and SC23F. • IEC/SC 23B Plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes • process as CD close date for comment of 29 July 2005. • IEC/SC 23E,GFCI rated for maximum 20 amps, 120 Vac • EDR submitted to the SC 23E Officers and Central Office on 8 July 2005 • IEC/SC 23F, Connecting Devices-EDR intended to introduce AWG wire sizes into the standard • A Summary of Comments Received from National Committees was circulated on 2 September 2005

IEC Global Relevance • Trial Program Period Extended to October 2006 • Council Board consideration of EDR as a new part of an existing Standard • Criteria needs to be clarified, as information required to support an EDR is not available. • USNC TMC to develop our recommendations for clarifying and revising the EDR process • Global Relevance implementation is in Jeopardy. • Must find a way to implement
