Topics • G064 (Unit 4) • A substantial project in which you will develop, in conjunction with a third party user, a well-defined client-driven problem that will allow you to demonstrate your skills to: • Analyse a problem • Design a solution to the problem • Develop the software solution • Test the solution against the requirements specification • Document the solution • Evaluate the solution • Work with another person/people to successfully complete the above steps.
Course Expectations • As A-Level students you will be expected to take control of your own studies. • Follow this simple guidelines to help you with your studies and achieve success within the course: • Always take notes during lessons • Write up your notes after lessons (we will ask you to hand in your notes on a regular basis and these should be presented neatly in a folder which is divided into sub-sections for each section of the course) • Create ‘revision nibbles’ from your notes (post-it sized memory joggers) • Revise what you have learnt and achieve the best you can
