  4. PTSA Reflections • Reflections is a themed creativity competition open to all students.

  5. A.C.T. A – Acknowledge the problem. C – Care T – Tell a trusted adult.

  6. A – Acknowledge the problem. Some of us and our friends are experiencing different things in their lives. Grief, divorce, personal problems, etc.

  7. C – Care – Show your friend you care. Be supportive and understanding. Listen, don’t solve.

  8. T – Tell a trusted adult. We don’t expect students to know how to figure it out. We are here to help.

  9. 5 Week Progress Report ARE YOU FAILING ANY CLASSES? ARE YOU EARNING “U’s” IN WORK HABITS OR COOPERATION? ASK FOR HELP!!!

  10. HOMEWORK HELP CLUB • BEFORE SCHOOL: YOU CAN RECEIVE HELP FROM MR. ANDERSON (Rm. E3) TUESDAYS THRU FRIDAYS FROM 7:15 TO 7:45 am • AFTER SCHOOL: MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS FROM 3:15 TO 4:20 pm GO TO Rm. M2 TO SIGN UP & TO BE ASSIGNED A TEACHER. SIGN-UP SHEETS ARE IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE.

  11. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK/CLASSWORK!!! • BIG NO-NO, DO NOT COPY HOMEWORK. • DO NOT CHEAT ON YOUR TESTS/QUIZZES. WHY? • RECEIVE A FAIL FOR THAT EXAM/HW; • DISSERVICE TO YOURSELF, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT LEARNING THE MATERIAL NEEDED TO PASS THE CLASS.

  12. If a quiz/test is worth 20 points and you let your friend copy your quiz/test… • The person copying the answers gets ZERO credit • = FAIL and possibly a “U” B. The person giving the answers gets ZERO credit = FAIL and possibly a “U” C. BOTH students get ZERO credit = FAIL and possibly a “U”

  13. If HOMEWORK is worth 2 points or a STAMP or CREDIT and you let your friend copy your HOMEWORK… • The person copying the answers gets ZERO credit • = FAIL and possibly a “U” B. The person giving the answers gets ZERO credit = FAIL and possibly a “U” C. BOTH students get ZERO credit = FAIL and possibly a “U”
