Create a collage of images representing different memories, from the sea air of Florida to the bustling city lights. Hyperlink each image to its corresponding poem slide and ensure a hyperlink back to the collage. Use shapes as a link back to the collage. Enjoy the creative process!

Practice • Go through and select a picture from each slide. Copy it to the blank slide below to make your collage, then hyperlink each image in the collage to its corresponding poem slide. • On EVERY poem slide, make sure to create a hyperlink BACK to the collage! • I like to click ‘insert’ and ‘shapes’ on the menu bar and put a little circle in the bottom corner as my link back to the collage. Good luck. (:
I am from the shining metal of the great Empire State Building From the ocean palace on the cool breeze The bright and shining lights in the mist of the bayou
I AM FROM • Cold ice cream dripping on my tongue • The irritating sound of people saying my name wrong • The glistening water as the sun sets on the horizon in Charleston
I am from the smell of Florida sea air From rowdy foot ball fans And chasing wailing firetrucks down Dreden Avenue
I am from poem I am from the purple, white-topped mountains on my way to Virginia. I am from the rush of kicking a soccer ball and having it glide off your foot. I am from soft, chewy pancakes smothered in syrup!
I am from the ocean crashing on my feet, From the wind blowing through my ears, making me almost fall asleep. I am from the green tint cast over everything by a storm, And the gritty, white sand filling the island beach
I am from hard beats and cool music, Flowing through my ears, Loud, like my head is on the speaker!
I am from the hurtful, painful explosion of people crying, from the graceful sounds of a Disney song, I am from the tap-tap-tap of a pencil on a desk, thinking what to write next.
I am from football, the pads, the leather ball, the heavy gear, From the terrible sight of UGA beating Tech. I am from the pricks and pinches I get from the Legos I try to put together, And the soft silk of my baby blanket.
I am from darkened rooms and haunted houses, From the bright, glowing trees surrounding the grass-filled forests. I am from the slight fog over the calm water, And from Leaves falling like snow in the woods.
