  1. WORLD EARTH DAYAPRIL 22 • In order to celebrate World Earth Day, Scaesti Secondary School has organized a round table / national debate: "Planet Earth - A Battle for Life." • This activity was attended by 60 schools from Dolj county and from the rest of the country.

The activity was organized in partnership with several institutions:* University of Craiova, Department of Applied Modern Languages​​;* Dolj County School Inspectorate – The governing and the regulatory body of the county school system;* Kindergarten "Sunflower" Craiova, Doljcounty;* Cotofenii din Dos, Middle School, Dolj county ;* Secu, Middle School, Dolj county;* Pielesti, Middle School, Doljcounty;* Gogoşu, Middle School, Doljcounty;* EuphrosinaPopescu, Middle School, loc. BotosestiPaia, Doljcounty;* No.1 Middle School, Bals, Olt county;* Vulpeni Middle School, Olt county;* Andreeşti Middle School, Gorjcounty;* "Federico Garcia Lorca", Middle School, sector 3, Bucharest * National Pedagogical College ,"Stefan Odobleja", DrobetaTurnu-Severin, Mehedinti County

  3. OGANIZING RULESI. Essays/ PowerPoint presentations on environmental issues2. Exhibition of objects made of recycled materials 3. Drawings, paintings and collages made of recycled materials competition

  5. The materials presented during the debate were promoting good examples for the preparation and conduct of best practices in the environment protection.

  6. For each of the sections there were awarded I, II, III and special awards and prizes.The project was designed to underline the great number of people that are currently involved in the important mission of understanding and protecting the environment through all means available.
