Blog3: Thegreatescaperoom.com TEAM BUILDING THROUGH PLANNING AN ESCAPE They say that TEAM is an acronym that stands for Together Everyone Achieves More, which is true. The success of a team project is dependent on not just the strongest leader but also how the team builds upon each member’s strengths and weaknesses to achieve the target they have set out to do. It is, however, difficult for that sense of togetherness to build, with each member focusing on completing his or her part during office hours. After all, in the end, meeting the deadline and delivering the output to the client is what is vital to the success of the project. Major multinational corporations do however understand the value of teamwork. Team buildingalso has some interesting exercises and games that not only help the corporation, but also the team members they to let their hair down and have some fun. The room escape in Chicago is one of these quite popular events, where the team is locked in a room and they have to find clues that are hidden inside the room that will help them escape. It is kind of like a scavenger hunt, and one member is assigned leadership. The game, like a project, is timed so it builds leadership qualities as well. Even if the escape does not happen in the time limit, the team members would definitely enjoy the challenge. But if the team focuses too much on the escape and not the togetherness, it might just become a panic room. Either way, the qualities of the members will come to the fore. Sounds interesting, doesn’t it?
