  2. Galatians 6: 1-3the message Bible 1-3Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day's out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ's law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived.

  3. Your relationships with others • We are the body of Christ! • We have influence! • It’s not about ‘being right’ and pointing fingers. We all need each other! We all have a role to play in our relationships with people! • It’s an attitude of the heart! • Sin does not define us!

  4. Your relationships with others • It’s a 2-way relationship! • Meet people where they are at. • Listen to them. • Christ’s law

  5. Christ’s Law John 13: 34-35 34-35"Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.“ LOVE!!!!

  6. Skills to build relationships with Others • Love – Christ’s law. • Compassion leading to Restoration • Listening and understanding • Humility – you need them too! Key! – Quality Relationships require time! They are intentional!

  7. Galatians 6: 4-5the message Bible 4-5Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself. Don't compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.

  9. Your Relationship with Yourself • - Exploring who you are, discovering God’s heart for you! Jeremiah 29:11 • - Comparing yourself = BAD! • You are an individual!

  10. How to build a relationship with yourself? • Being alone is okay! • You are IMPORTANT! Your life is lived by you! • Keep a journal with God and write down the things He says to you, prophetic words • Write down your dreams! • Be able to say no! This enables you to steward your time and life well! • Taking responsibility for your actions and choices.

  11. Galatians 6: 7-8 The message Bible 7-8Don't be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he'll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God's Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.

  15. Galatians 6: 11-13 The message Bible 11-13Now, in these last sentences, I want to emphasize in the bold scrawls of my personal handwriting the immense importance of what I have written to you. These people who are attempting to force the ways of circumcision on you have only one motive: They want an easy way to look good before others, lacking the courage to live by a faith that shares Christ's suffering and death. All their talk about the law is gas. They themselves don't keep the law! And they are highly selective in the laws they do observe. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast of their success in recruiting you to their side. That is contemptible!

  16. Galatians 6: 14-16 The Message Bible 14-16For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate. Can't you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do—submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life! All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God—his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!

  17. Your Relationship with God • Religion is the opposite of relationship. • We are not called to please man. We choose to please God • It’s a heart-to-heart connection.

  18. How can I build this “heart-to-heart connection” with God? • He loves you! • Make time to spend with Him! A good relationship takes time! • Be intentional! • He is the wellspring of life from which everything else flows. • It’s your identity! • Holy Spirit wants to help- it’s okay to be vulnerable.

  19. Relationship = Lives Changed! • Relationships are the instrument for change! • They make it possible for us to show and receive love!Honour! Acceptance! Compassion! Kindness! Through your relationships with people, you have the ability to change lives!!

  20. Relationship= Responsibility! Only you can make it happen!

How to build relationships in Fuzion? • WHAT CAN I DO? • Greet people every week, make a conscious effort to reach out to new people and find out about themselves. • Challenge yourself to be confident enough to initiate conversations with people you don’t usually talk to. • Come to Fuzion regularly, building relationships is intentional! • Get people’s contact numbers, FB, bbm, The Fuzion FB page. • Create socials, invite people to go to the beach, to movies, for coffee. • Get involved! In socials, helping out, activities! • Build relationships with your leaders. Allow them to ‘put into your life’. • Have fun! Enjoy being who you are and know that God loves you!
