Visitor Agreements Rutgers University faculty are encouraged to seek collaboration opportunities with colleagues and scientists affiliated with other academic institutions and/or from the for-profit sector in order to further research at Rutgers. The Visiting Student/Scientist procedure is established to facilitate the interaction of Rutgers University faculty with other scientists, colleagues and students who will have access to Rutgers University research resources, facilities and faculty, not otherwise available to the public. The Visiting Student or Visiting Scientist is precluded from beginning the program at Rutgers University until a fully-executed agreement is obtained.
Visitor Agreements Visiting Scientist -Designation for those who are employed as a researcher or professor at a university, college, research institute, or company and not enrolled in a degree program. Visiting Student - Designation for visiting graduate students
Visitor Agreement Procedure Please submit a complete application package with all applicable signatures and email to export-support@rutgers.edu. An incomplete package will be returned to requestor. Any questions or concerns regarding these agreements and Export Control policies should be directed to Robert Phillips at robert.phillips@rutgers.edu or (848) 932-4522.
Visitor Agreement Procedure If the Visiting Scientist will be representing a company or an institution or if his/her activities as a Visiting Scientist will be subject to employment or contractual requirements at the company or institution, the agreement must be co-signed by the appropriate representative who is authorized to execute agreements and bind the outside company or institution.
Visitor Agreement Procedure • A Complete submission will consist of: • Agreement signed by visitor. • Statement of Research (Exhibit A). • Copy of Visitor’s CV or resume. • If visitor is a foreign national, also include: • Faculty Sponsor Export Compliance Acknowledgment, signed by the sponsoring faculty member. • Send complete submission to export-support@rutgers.edu.
