  2. ‘If you can dream it, you can do it´ • Walt Disney Company Staff Handbook • Beware this module could change your future!! • The key to success is hard work, knowing what • you want out of life and striving to be the ‘best you can be´ • In the preparation stage of this module you will investigate, perform, create and experience a range of subjects that will help you to make your Key Stage 4 option choices. • You will meet the IAG (Information, Advice and guidance) Team who will be there to help you with the process. You will also be introduced to the u explore on line bespoke careers programme that will support you whilst you make your choices. Impact sessionWed 8th Jan Assembly

What should be done? • Using the work from the preparations and assignment session you need to do the following? • •Compare different qualifications that are available to you next year? • •Investigate five subjects that you are interested in and explain your reasons for selecting them? • •Which subjects are you required to continue to study at school and why are they important? • •Complete listed tasks on u-explore? • •Use u-explore to create an up-to-date Profile Preference? Assignment

Art -You will investigate a selection of artists who have explored realism, partial realism and abstraction in their work • Drama - To enter the world of performance you will have to complete an audition and learn how to use a script • Music -In this theme, you will have the opportunity to look at famous solo and ensemble performers, analyse and practice a song of your choice and perform it as either Solo or Ensemble performance. • DT -Each product or company has aspirations to promote themselves in the best possible way. Using these principals you will create yourself as a brand and produce a range of products to promote yourself. • FOOD - You will aspire to learn and practice techniques and investigate other practical skills that are used in the Food Industry. Preparation Phase – What will I be learning? Wk 1 - 5

History – You will be looking at the key events of World War Two and the impact they had on the outcome as well as why the War started. • RE -You will look at the similarities and differences between faiths and consider how you live your life could affect your journey in the afterlife. • Geog - You will be compiling a project on a single country - America Humanities
