Mosiac Dispensation • Wilderness Wandering (40 Years) – Ex. 14-Deut. 34. • Conquest of Canaan – Book of Joshua. • Period of Judges – Judges, Ruth, I Samuel 1-8. • United Kingdom – I Sam. 9; 2 Samuel thru I Kings 11 (Saul, David, Solomon). • Divided Kingdom –I Kings 12 thru 2 Kings 17 (rise of Samaritans).
Judah alone – 2 Kings 18-25, Jeremiah, Ezek, Dan. 1 & 2 Chron. Reviews this. • Babylonian Captivity – 586-536 BC. Book of Esther leads into Persian time. • Restoration to Israel – 536-432. Ezra, Nehemiah, Haggai. • Between the Testaments 432-0 BC
Christian Dispensation • Life of Christ – Matt. Thru John. 0-30 AD • Church Age – 30 till the present.
Main Lessons • God has always dealt with sin, never ignored it. • Priesthood changes. • Law is a reflection of God’s person. • Sacrifice is “expensive”. • God makes the first move. We must respond.
